When I came home from school today, John and I watched Dragnet, which is awesome, then proceeded to lump in front of the TV until around seven, when Jacob joined us in a trip to Eclipse Records. I bought the Interpol album, and am now convinced that everyone nowadays wants to sound like Television, but, for some reason, cannot. Probably because they don't have Tom Verlaine. Regardless, the songs Obstacle 1 and PDA kick ridiculous amounts of ass, as does most of the rest of the album.
We returned in time for Joe Millionaire (with Arby's). They left, I prepared for bed, early, but was foiled by Joseph who informed me that we were on our way to the Metrodome to goof around on the field from 11-12P, which was pretty damned sweet. We brought the video camera, of course, and are at work on another short for NHS Movie Night. Radical.
Joe informed me, however, that they had finished choosing roles for Tartuffe, a fact that addled my brain for the rest of the night and is the very cause of my current state of awake-ness. I had been under the impression that they would not be finished choosing parts until Tuesday night. I was wrong. I am not sleeping well tonight. Luckily I have a triple late start tomorrow (Tuesday). Sweet.
I'm also up for SnoDaze royalty. What?
Peace.
