As far as the general suckiness of the Grammys goes, this year's list takes the cake. I didn't have a chance to look at the entire list until today and I must say, even though I have come to expect very little, the nominees are absolutely awful this year. Normally I would mention the redeeming qualities of several nominees on the list, but there are so few that I can barely even recall what I've just read. The Dixie Chicks got a nomination for album of the year, and Wilco didn't, not to mention The Flaming Lips. Christ!

Now I have to go present my Book Review. Pray for me.
