I leave for Vermont tomorrow. I'm excited, but I'll be missing a lot while gone. Tonight I guess I'm having a 'party' of sorts. I say 'I guess' because I really have no idea how it will turn out. A ton of people are in Winnipeg at the Folk Festival, so Joe decided he wanted to have a party with everyone who's not going. I guess I volunteered my house in the process. It should be alright. I had no hand in invitation or planning, but it's 'my party' now... I guess.

I'm planning on writing some kind of essay or short story for this site while in Vermont. If for no other reason than to bring something new to the insipid drivel that this site has become. Anyway, it's a lot easier for me to find inspiration away from home, so I plan on writing a lot during this trip. That means I might finally have interesting things to say in the coming weeks. Wouldn't that be a welcomed change of pace?

I saw Josie & The Pussycats last night. It was great.
